Bishops keep up support for the Polluter Pays and other news
We are very grateful to the Bishops and in particular David Walker, the Bishop of Manchester for their continued support for the Polluter Pays amendment. Bishop Walker wrote a brilliant piece last weekend (3 October 2021) for the Guardian settting out the Polluter Pays amendment and championing the proposal.
Bishop Walker wrote: “We will be taking our message, politely but firmly, to their party conference here in Manchester this weekend. And to every other major political stage we can speak on, until Britain’s homes are made safe.“

We are happy to see the Bishop his article being fully endorsed by the Mayor of Salford, Paul Dennett
We received other notable mentions which shows how the awareness around the Polluter Pays amendment is growing.
