Second reading of the Building Safety Bill in the House of Lords
On Wednesday the 2nd of February the Building Safety Bill received its second reading in the House of Lords. Lord Lytton spoke elegantly on the Polluter Pays amendment, which he wants to see as an amendment to the BSB.
Our aim to protect leaseholders from any cost and reform construction so that this cannot happen again to inocent people in the future is what continues to drive our amendment forward. We keep working with Government to make sure that the core elements of our policy are implemented.
